Beautiful, dreamy a perfect paradise for this lovely creature!! Unfortunately they are endangered and except for those kept in zoos, or as pets or for scientific research, they are on their way to extinction. They are found in only 2 lakes, one which has already been drained....so now its natural home is even smaller. :heart: :hug: :tmnt3:

I didn't know either till I read your link...too bad...but it seems alot of creatures are found only in certain small places on the earth, once that is destroyed, they die, because they have no home, food, etc. I don't know if the zoo has them, I can find out. :heart: :hug: :tmnt3:

I totally laughed when I saw this. In my opinion, the Axolotl is one of the coolest species of ANYTHING around, purely for its face. I wish there were more of them around. :(

I also like the way you used the fish to mimic its expression in this image. :w00t:
